Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Astera ("we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run a collectibles app — account details, purchases, and the content you post — and we don't sell your personal data.
1. What we collect
- Account information — email address, username, date of birth, gender, and profile picture if you add one. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile those services share.
- Purchases — your order history (spins, cards won, merch orders) and shipping address for physical orders. Payments are processed by Apple, Stripe, or our other payment providers — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Content you create — messages in fan chats, images you share, and your collection activity.
- Device and usage data — device type, app version, push notification token, language, and crash/diagnostic reports so we can fix problems.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: deliver cards, maintain your collection, ship merch, and operate chats.
- To send purchase confirmations and, if enabled, push notifications about drops and messages — you can turn these off in Settings.
- To keep Astera safe: fraud prevention, enforcing our terms, and verifying cards.
- To improve the app through aggregated usage and crash analytics.
3. What we share
- Service providers — hosting, storage, payment processing, email delivery, and crash reporting providers who process data only on our instructions.
- Artists and other users — your username, profile picture, and public collection activity are visible in the app; messages you post in a chat are visible to that chat.
- Legal reasons — if required by law or to protect Astera and its users.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
4. Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. If you delete your account, personal data is removed or anonymized within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
5. Your rights
You can access and update your profile in the app, and request a copy or deletion of your data at any time — in Settings, or by emailing support@astera.cards from your account address. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as correction, portability, or objection) — the same contact handles those requests.
6. Children
Astera is not for children under 13 (or the higher age your country requires). We don't knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child is using Astera, contact us and we'll remove the account.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure and providers may store data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
8. Changes
We'll post updates to this policy here and, for material changes, notify you in the app before they take effect.
